PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL – April 4, 2016 – Crew Palm Beach/Treasure Coast has hosted three events to date in 2016, each selling out prior to the event. This local CREW chapter will be celebrating their fifth anniversary later this year, and has positioned themselves to be very successful thus far. Their proof is in the record high membership numbers and three continuous sold out events.
“We have put together a dynamic program schedule for our members,” says Judith Schumacher, Program Chair, “We need to increase the value of the membership and with every event we aim to raise the bar.”
Recent events this year included Rosa Schecter, Esquire, Principal with Landstar Development, spoke on the status on the upcoming multi-use community Avenir, a 4,700-acre development that will include commercial, residential, schools, parks and office use, in northern Palm Beach county. In January, Planning with the Planners included a dynamic panel of experts in planning and development, Dodi Glas, Gentile Glas Holloway and O’Mahoney & Associates, Inc., Jennifer Morton, JMorton Planning & Landscape Architecture, and Wendy Tuma, Urban Design Kidlay Studios. Most recently, Dorothy Jacks, Chief Deputy Property Appraiser, spoke at a members-only event, sharing a rare and in-depth look into the inner workings of the PAPA website.
“We have had so much positive feedback from our members on our programs,” says Michele Pellico, chapter President, “Judi and the programs committee has done an amazing job on providing real-industry content for our members and her efforts show in the member participation numbers.”
