WEST PALM BEACH, FL – March 28, 2016 – The Palm Beach/Treasure Coast chapter of CREW, Commercial Real Estate for Women, announced this past week that they have reached a record high in membership. CREW, founded in 1989 and currently serves over 70 major markets in North America, serves over 9,500 members. The local Palm Beach/Treasure Coast chapter launched just five years ago and now serves 60 members.
“Our members are dedicated and bring top quality professionalism to our chapter,” says Michele Pellico, chapter President, “Each year we continue to surpass our membership goals because the members are feeling the value of their membership.”
CREW serves the commercial real estate market with four focused initiatives, business development, industry research, leadership development and career outreach. Although it is geared for women in the industry, there are several male members along with a board member serving in the Young Professional category.
Laura King with First Citizens Bank has been serving as Membership Director for two years. “My job requires me to be in the community and developing business, so it is only natural for me to serve in this position and help our chapter grow,” King said, “We all feel the benefits of the growth because our networks within this tight industry expand and grow stronger.”
The chapter is on task to surpass their 2016 membership goals as well.
