PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL – March 16, 2016 – Crew Palm Beach/Treasure Coast hosted a sold out event on Tuesday, March 16th. This marks their third sold out event for their 2016 calendar of events.
Dorothy Jacks, Chief Deputy Property Appraiser, was the guest speaker and gave members a rare and in-depth look through the PAPA website. Jacks, a 27-year veteran with the Property Appraiser’s office is behind the Property Appraiser Public Access system (PAPA) and helped bring it to fruition to give the public easy access to county property assessments and tax information. She shared her extensive knowledge with those in attendance with a comprehensive walk through on how to best access and maneuver through the site.
“Dorothy is a staple in our community and is so well respected. Our members were super excited to hear she would be speaking,” says Judy Schumacher, Programs Director for CREW Palm Beach, “Dorothy is the ideal example of the strength behind our CREW members.”
The popularity of Jacks as the speaker was pretty evident as the availability of ticket were minimal days before the event.
“Dorothy is a CREW member and she is well known amongst our chapter members. We chose to make this a members-only event to keep it intimate,” says Michele Pellico, chapter President, “And it was obvious our members enjoyed it because of the numerous questions and roar of applause at the close of the meeting.”
