Come and hear from Wes Blackman, AICP, Senior Principal Urban Planner at CWB Associates discuss the big picture overview of the development of South Florida during the 20th century, the contributions from changes in transportation, the infrastructure needed to support the growth, what WPB used to look like, how local cities, like Lake Worth Beach, are embracing their historical buildings in marketing/branding their cities, and the history of the Gulfstream Hotel and current renovation/restoration project.
We will be raffling off a copy of Wes’s award-winning book “The Cottages of Lake Worth. Living Large in Small Spaces”. So, don’t miss this event!
