PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL – February 10, 2016 – Crew Palm Beach/Treasure Coast hosted a sold out event on Tuesday, February 9th. This marks their second sold out event for their 2016 calendar of events.
Rosa Schechter, Esquire, Principal with Landstar Development, was the guest speaker. Schechter spoke on the status on the upcoming multi-use community Avenir in northern Palm Beach county. A 4,700-acre development that will include commercial, residential, schools, parks and office use, is a plan that for most seemed to be a thing of the past in Palm Beach county. Avenir, which translates to the meaning of future, is anticipated to take about twenty years to complete. Still in its planning stages, an anticipated opening date is unknown.
“Rosa is a staple in this community and the Avenir project is a hot topic in our county, so it was a perfect fit to have her speak,” says Judy Schumacher, Programs Director for CREW Palm Beach, “As I looked around the room, everyone was engaged in Rosa’s presentation.”
