CREW PBTC Members were treated to an exclusive tour of the newly opened NORA District. NORA is a 40-acre mixed-use, carefully planned project rooted in adaptive reuse and human-scale design. The district, when complete will feature a mix of retail, office, multi-family, and a hotel poised to become a design-forward destination.
The event began with a networking opportunity at one of the new office spaces. Next was an informative tour led by Joe Furst, Founder and Managing Principal of Place Projects. Joe explained how this collection of underutilized warehouse buildings and vacant land has transformed into one of the most ambitious mixed-use developments in South Florida. “It’s equal parts preservation and new development,” he emphasized. “We were very intentional about scale transitions — from historic warehouse reuse to taller residential structures as you move north and east through the site.”
Following the tour, attendees were treated to lunch, compliments of H&H Bagels, who is about to celebrate their grand opening in NORA.
