CREW Palm Beach Treasure Coast would like to thank our February Luncheon Speaker, Miguel “Mike” Santiago, President of Universal Engineering Inspections (UEI) and Director of the Milestone Inspections Program for Universal Engineering Sciences (UES).
Mike gave a brief history of the Florida Milestone Inspection process and discussed key provisions of the new Florida Senate Bill 4D which establishes a statewide inspection program for condominium and cooperatives. He went through the details of the Florida Milestone Inspections, the Structural Integrity Reserve Study (SIRS), important Association requirements and local building department requirements.
